Garden Street Housing

The rehabilitation of Garden Street involved building reconstruction and front façade renovations to a series of Queen Anne style row houses. These late nineteenth century structures, located in the historic district of Poughkeepsie, were restored with ornamental wood trim and siding, brick veneer, and an ashlar stone base.

Lander and Chamber Street Housing

Located in Newburgh, NY this is a historic restoration of forty-five 19th-Century row houses into eighty-four affordable apartment units. Lander Street was one of Newburgh’s most beautiful neighborhoods, but it suffered severely from substantial abandonment during the 1980’s and 1990’s. The significant renovations was recognized for Excellence in Historic Preservation by Preservation League of NYS, American Institute of Architects Community Design, New York State Historic Preservation Office Commendation.

Hudson River Housing

The historic renovation of an existing three-story structure at Mill Street, Poughkeepsie, NY is used as transitional housing. This facility accommodates twelve residents plus administrative offices. The 6,000 square foot reconstruction included facade renovation work that involved the State Historic Preservation Office review and coordination.

Trolley Barn

Located in Poughkeepsie, NY, the Trolley Barn originally housed a fleet of horse-powered carriages in 1874, and later electric trollies and a bus garage. A full renovation the space transformed the facility into a multi-cultural center for arts programming and events.

Poughkeepsie Journal Building

The Poughkeepsie Journal building has over 103,000 square feet of space that has been converted from a newspaper manufacturing facility to predominately professional office space. The types of offices retrofit project completed to date include: law offices, financial, engineering, insurance and medical administration offices, publishing, land development and county health offices. An extensive window replacement and exterior improvements were completed.
